ERA training on AI and human rights
As an organisation working in the Fundamental Rights Agency (FRP) of the EU, we report on their publications when they concern our issues. In the current report we find an important seminar on artificial intelligence, that took place yesterday. We will report on this event when more information ist available.
Aktion Freiheit statt Angst has been working for years to educate about the dangers of alleged artificial intelligence (AI) when used in surveillance tools.
FRA will join round-table discussions on identifying and preventing the discriminatory impact of artificial intelligence. The discussions are part of an online training seminar on Human Rights and Artificial Intelligence Systems.
The Academy of European Law (ERA) event has taken place on March 29th.
This practical training will help legal practitioners understand how Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems operate and how they can impact individual human rights. An update on the future rules at EU and Council of Europe level will be provided, together with relevant international and national case law.
The participants will be able to discuss the most pertinent issues at stake, such as discrimination in AI systems, Big Data and responsibility attribution raised by the use of AI technology.
