Bundesweites Planungstreffen
am 23.- 24. Januar 2010 in Jena
Beteiligt euch an der Vorbereitung für das Karawane - Festival für die Rechte der Flüchtlinge und MigrantInnen in Europe ( 4.- 6. Juni 2010 )
- "Vereint gegen koloniales Unrecht in Erinnerung an die Toten der Festung Europa"
Im Rahmen des politisch-kulturellen Programms des Festivals sollen Maskenumzüge, Konzerte, Straßentheater und Kinderveranstaltungen, sowie Percussion- und Jam-Sessions stattfinden. In Diskussionen, Installationen, Filmen und Fotoausstellungen wollen wir die Brutalität des Grenzregimes zum Ausdruck bringen.
Mit dem Festival wollen wir unser Engagement für unseren Kampf für unser Recht auf Bewegungsfreiheit, soziale Gerechtigkeit und globale Solidarität bekräftigen.
Masken aus Afrika werden nach Europa kommen, in das Land der Kolonisatoren, um nach dem Verbleib derer zu fragen, die verloren gegangen oder abgeschoben worden sind, um unsere Geschichte, unsere Vorfahren, unsere Heimat nach Europa zu bringen – um unsere Würde wiederherzustellen.
Zum Vorbereitungstreffen am 23./24. Januar sind interessierte Gruppen, Aktivisten und Einzelpersonen aus verschiedenen Städten eingeladen, um über Netzwerkbildung zu beraten und Ideen und Informationen auszutauschen über kulturelle und politische Beiträge, sowie über öffentlichkeitswirksame dezentrale Aktivitäten, Fundraising und Info-Touren im Vorfeld des Festivals.
Es wäre schön, wenn alle Interessierten so pünktlich wie möglich kommen könnten; wer lieber schon Freitag Abend anreisen möchte, ist herzlich willkommen, sollte uns aber im Voraus Bescheid sagen. Bitte bringt Schlafsäcke und Isomatten mit -und gebt uns Bescheid mit wievielen Menschen ihr voraussichtlich anreisen werdet (wegen Schlafplätzen). Participate in the preparation of the Caravan - Festival
For the rights of refugees and migrants in Europe (Juni 4th – 6th, 2010 )
Unite against colonial injustice in memory of the dead victims of the
fortress Europe
The festival will be featuring masquerades, musical concerts, street
theatres and children program with percussions and jam-session for the
cultural festivity of the occasion as well as discussions, installations,
photos, films and exhibitions to express the brutality of the border
regimes. With the Festival we want to reaffirm our commitment to our fight
for our right to freedom of movement, social justice and global
solidarity.
The masquerades from Africa will come to Europe, the land of the
colonizers to ask where those who were lost and those deported have
remained, to bring our history, to bring our ancestors, to bring our home
to Europe - to reclaim our dignity.
For the preparation meeting on January 23rd and 24th interested groups,
activists and other persons from different cities are invited for
discussions on networking and exchange of ideas and information on the
cultural and political contributions, including de-centralized activities
of public interest, fund-raising and touring before the festival in June.
It would be nice if all who are interested could come in time; those who
prefer to arrive already Friday evening are welcome. Please inform us in
advance of your arrival! If you can, bring sleeping bags and mats. Ideas
and proposals for the festival should be sent to us in advance, if
