Visa Waiver

Angehörige einiger westlich orientierter Staaten können das Visa Waiver Program^[102] nutzen.
Sie können bei einer Einreise an Bord eines hierfür zugelassenen Beförderungsunternehmens den Antrag auf Gestattung der Einreise ohne Visum stellen und erhalten vor der Einreise an Bord ein Formular für die Erfassung als visumfreie Nichteinwanderer mit der Bezeichnung Nonimmigrant visa waiver arrival/departure form, das bei der Einreise an der Grenzkontrollstelle vorzulegen ist. Wer das Programm zur visumfreien Einreise nutzt, verzichtet zugleich auf Rechtsmittel im Falle einer Zurückweisung.^[103]

The Visa Waiver Program (VWP) is a program of the United States Government which allows citizens of specific countries to travel to the United States for tourism or business for up to 90 days without having to obtain a visa. All countries participating in the program are high-income economies with a high HDI and are regarded as developed countries.
