Discussing unfair AI bias at the Internet Governance Forum 2018

The Agency will take part in a panel discussion on mitigating unfair bias in artificial intelligence (AI) at the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) in Paris on 15 November. Their annual meeting, under the title Internet of Trust, will gather people from governments, international organisations, civil society and business to discuss such topics as gender and access, cybersecurity, the Internet of Things, Big Data and AI. FRA will join the panel discussion on how machine learning and AI work in practice and will share good practices on how to reduce unfair bias and on how to be transparent and accountable when using AI.
