FRA joins Frontex Consultative Forum meeting

Als Mitglied der Fundamental Rights Platform (FRA) dokumentiert Aktion Freiheit statt Angst regelmäßig deren Veröffentlichungen, wenn sie unsere Themen betreffen. Vom 17 bis 18 Oktober hat die FRA das Coast Guard’s Consultative Forum der Grenz-"schutz"-agentur FRONTEX in Warschau besucht.

The Agency took part in European Border and Coast Guard’s Consultative Forum meeting in Warsaw from 17 to 18 October. FRA is a permanent member of the Consultative Forum, which also includes nine civil society organisations. The Consultative Forum was established in 2011. It advises the Frontex Executive Director and the Frontex Management Board on fundamental rights. The Consultative Forum continues to have a positive impact on fundamental rights in the work of Frontex. (Contact: Adriano Silvestri)
