Browser-Plugin stoppt schnüffelnde Webseiten

Die gemeinnützige Organisaton Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) hat mitgeteilt, dass  das Browser-Plug-in Privacy Badger in Version 1.0 für Chrome und Firefox verfügbar ist.

Damit sollen aktive Tracking-Prozesse unterbunden werden, die das Nutzerverhalten beim Surfen aufzeichnen und für Werbezwecke analysieren.

Update 06.04.2016: Eine große Hilfe zur Vermeidung von Verfolgung und Überwachung sind auch VPNs.
